Summary
The excitement is great as UFC 285 approaches because it will mark the legendary Jon Jones’ comeback. The PPV will take place on March 4 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, United States, and is just a few days away. After a three-year absence, Jon “bones” Jones fights Ciryl Gane in the octagon. The fans’ eagerly awaited return is met with a lot of anticipation as well as inquiries.
Jones and Ngannou were supposed to face off for the heavyweight title, according to the UFC. Francis Ngannou, however, was unable to reach a contract agreement with the UFC. After that, he was freed, and now we have a brand-new main event featuring Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane for the empty championship.
Both the layoff and Jones’ increase in weight are significant. The co-main event is not the only thing we have; we also have a firepower card. When we start fight week, fight fans all across the world should strap their seatbelts.
UFC 285 Fight Card
Main Card:
Jamie Pickett vs. Bo Nickal: This thrilling matchup kicks off the main event. Bo Nickal has won everyone over with his efforts in the Dana White contender series. Yet Jamie Pickett is no pushover. The weight limit for this fight is 185 pounds.
Jalin Turner vs. Mateusz Gamrot: This entertaining contest features two lightweights. The amazing record of the number 7 Gamrot is 21-2 with 1 NC. Turner, who is ranked 10th in the lightweight division, has a career record of 13-5.
Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Geoff Neal: If Rakhmonov wins this bout and defeats Neal, he might move up into the top five welterweights. Geoff Neal, on the other hand, was referred to as the division’s dark horse. A former Darkhorse and a current Darkhorse are engaged in combat.
Alexa Grasso vs. Valentina Shevchenko (co-main): This contest will be for the female flyweight championship. Sixth-ranked Alexa Grasso will attempt to defeat Shevchenko for the championship, but it will be more difficult than it seems.
(Main event) Jon Jones vs. Cyril Gane: The world heavyweight championship is up for grabs in the main event. Will Gane’s skilled striking be sufficient to thwart the GOAT? We shall discover this in a short while. Only time will tell. If Jones succeeds in winning, he will very probably overtake Muhammad Ali as the pound-for-pound champion.

Nurmagomedov or St-Pierre is Jones’ strongest rival for the title. It would push Jones over the top if he could defeat Gane, a big, agile, athletic fighter who has only recently started to appear in the heavyweight class.
It is a tremendous feat to switch to heavyweight and win the title after three years on the sidelines. There won’t be any more arguments if Jones is able to accomplish that.
He may have lapped the field twice before.
