A tag match has been made for TNA Sacrifice. Jeff Hardy will team with Vincent of The Righteous to face Cedric Alexander and Brian Myers of The System in a match set for the Sacrifice card.
Backstage attack sets the stage
On Thursday’s TNA Impact, a backstage segment showed Matt Hardy down after an attack. The Righteous said the attack looked like the work of The System. Jeff Hardy arrived and asked what happened, and members of The Righteous stood nearby, blaming The System for the hit on Matt.

Later, the Righteous met with Director of Authority Santino Marella. They said the System attacked Matt Hardy and asked for a tag team match. Marella approved the match for Sacrifice.
Match details
The match will see Jeff Hardy and Vincent face Cedric Alexander and Brian Myers. The Hardys currently hold the TNA World Tag Team titles, but those belts will not be at stake in this match. The promotion noted the title reign will go beyond 250 days, with the last title defense occurring at Genesis in January.
Matt Hardy’s attack is part of the storyline push that leads into the tag match. The Righteous have been involved in the angle, and The System members Cedric Alexander and Brian Myers will answer the challenge at Sacrifice.

The Sacrifice event will also include a grudge fight between Eddie Edwards of The System and Moose. That match was officially announced alongside the tag match.
