Joe Rogan wants the UFC to add a featherweight title fight between champion Alexander Volkanovski and Movsar Evloev to the upcoming UFC: White House event in June.
Rogan’s push for the matchup
After watching Movsar Evloev beat Lerone Murphy, Joe Rogan said he wants the UFC to put Evloev on the UFC: White House card. Rogan praised Evloev for standing and trading strikes with Murphy. He said the performance was “very impressive” and pushed for a title fight: “I’m into (Volkanovski vs. Evloev). God, I hope so. I hope they don’t f*ck him again. After this? It has to be, or something is terrible in the world. White House lawn, let’s go. Give the man a couple of months off. We’re only in March, it’s in June. Come on, spice that card up, baby.”
Evloev’s recent run
Movsar Evloev is on a 10-fight winning streak. His win over Lerone Murphy drew attention because Evloev used more striking and stood with Murphy longer than he often does. Rogan said the change in approach showed how much pressure Evloev must feel to finish fights with strikes instead of relying on his usual ground game.

What this would mean for UFC: White House
Adding Alexander Volkanovski would bring big star power to the UFC: White House card. Many fans and commentators see Evloev as deserving a title shot after his long streak, but the UFC has not officially announced such a fight. Given the promotion’s past choices, it seems unlikely they will change the card now, though Rogan and others hope the company will give fans a high-profile matchup in June.
Rogan’s comments came on his Fight Companion show after Evloev’s win. The suggestion to hold the fight on the White House lawn was part hype, part a call to make the June event more exciting for fans.
