Oba Femi Targets Trick Williams for Dumpster Match Ahead of WrestleMania 42

Oba Femi says he wants to settle an old score with Trick Williams — and he hopes to do it in a dumpster match as he builds toward his big WrestleMania 42 bout with Brock Lesnar.

Femi Calls Out Trick Williams

In a recent interview, Femi picked Trick Williams when asked who he would like to face in a dumpster match. He said, “Trick Williams. I think I owe Trick one, after everything we’ve been through in NXT. We never really got that one-on-one, ‘Let’s settle this beef,’ kind of match. So I think Trick Williams is the one I’m most willing to throw inside a trash can dumpster.”

History Between Femi and Williams

The rivalry between Femi and Williams goes back to early last year. Femi won the NXT Championship in a Triple Threat match that also featured Eddy Thorpe and Trick Williams. Williams had been champion going into that match.

Their most recent singles match was in September. Both Femi’s NXT title and Williams’ TNA World Championship were on the line. That match ended in a No Contest after members of the TNA roster interfered. Because of that finish, the feud never got a clear conclusion.

Road to WrestleMania 42

Femi is now preparing for a high-profile match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42. He has appeared on both SmackDown and Raw while building toward that bout. Williams is currently part of the SmackDown roster, which makes another meeting between the two possible now that both men are on the main roster.

Femi also mentioned Dominik Mysterio as someone who might deserve a dumpster match. The two have not had major on-screen encounters, but Mysterio still drew Femi’s ire from a distance.
