Round-by-round recap
The fight opened with Ribeiro using a calf kick while Yakhyaev pressed forward. Ribeiro looked to keep the distance and landed several punches as Yakhyaev tried to close.

The rear-naked choke came suddenly after a short sequence of strikes and positional work. Ribeiro tried to defend and to rise, but Yakhyaev’s grip and positioning forced the tap.

This win adds another quick finish to Yakhyaev’s collection. The bout ended in the opening round and did not go to the judges.
