Lady Frost has left AEW and quickly signed with Major League Wrestling. She thanked AEW boss Tony Khan and will debut with MLW at the FantasticaMania tapings in Charleston, South Carolina.
Departure from AEW
Lady Frost confirmed on X that her contract with AEW had ended and that she was a free agent. She said she was grateful for her time there and praised Tony Khan as a kind and passionate boss.
Reports said her AEW deal expired at midnight and the company did not re-sign her. Frost wrote that she had some of her best moments while with AEW and that she was moving on to the next chapter in her career.
Quick signing with MLW
Less than two hours after announcing she was a free agent, Frost revealed she would no longer be available on the open market. MLW then confirmed they had signed her to a contract.
MLW said Frost will make her debut on April 12 in Charleston for FantasticaMania, a set of tapings held with CMLL and New Japan. The promotion used Frost’s nickname, the “Ice Cold Killer,” in its announcement and encouraged fans to get tickets for the April 12 show.
Career background and links to CMLL
Frost is known for her time in AEW and ROH. She also worked for NWA and TNA in the early 2020s. Since 2022 she has appeared several times for CMLL in Mexico.
While wrestling with CMLL, Frost won the Copa Bicentenario in December 2022 with tag team partner Dalys. MLW’s working relationship with CMLL means Frost can continue working with the lucha libre promotion while under her MLW contract.
What comes next
Frost moves into MLW just weeks after her AEW deal expired. Fans can expect her to appear at FantasticaMania on April 12 in Charlestown, South Carolina, and possibly in CMLL events tied to MLW’s partnership.
