Janel Grant has added new, serious allegations against Vince McMahon and others in a recent court filing. The filing fights WWE’s request to move the case to private arbitration and adds more detail about what Grant says happened while she worked for the company.

New Allegations in the Court Filing
Grant’s memorandum, filed in opposition to WWE’s push for arbitration, argues that the non-disclosure agreement she signed while with WWE does not bar the case from going to court. The filing adds fresh claims about abuse and mistreatment she says she faced while employed by the company.
Grant says she was forced into sex with former WWE executive John Laurinaitis. She also alleges violent encounters with both Laurinaitis and Vince McMahon, including being physically harmed and having her hair ripped out. Grant writes that she often blacked out during these episodes and that she attempted suicide during the time she says the abuse occurred.
Executives Named and Company Knowledge
The filing names current WWE president Nick Khan and senior operator Brad Blum as people who knew about Grant’s relationship with McMahon. The filing says Khan was told of the relationship by McMahon and that Blum figured it out on his own.
From Janel Grant’s declaration filing in support to her opposition to the arbitration motion. She alleges: 1. Brad Blum and Nick Khan were aware of her relationship with Vince. Blum figured it out while Khan was told by Vince. — B. J. Bethel
Grant also claims that Brad Nurse raised concerns about her relationship with McMahon and that the company then “handled” Nurse, which she believes meant he was let go. Nurse left WWE in November 2020, a date that matches the time Grant says she was with the company and being abused.
Brock Lesnar and Other Mentions
The filing repeats earlier allegations that involve current WWE star Brock Lesnar. Grant says McMahon asked her to make videos for Lesnar and that McMahon told her he had shown those videos to many people. She also claims Lesnar asked her to fly to Chicago to meet him while both were employed by WWE. It is unclear if that request relates to an earlier claim that McMahon arranged a meeting tied to Lesnar’s contract talks.
Grant says she told McMahon about her suicide attempt and that he brushed it off. She also claims McMahon warned her not to be late for meetings with Laurinaitis.
Next Steps and Context
The dispute over arbitration is now central. Grant’s lawyers want the case heard in court, arguing the NDA should not block her claims. WWE has pushed to move the matter to private arbitration to keep the proceedings out of public view.
