Retired UFC stars Michael Bisping and Daniel Cormier will serve as coaches for The Ultimate Fighter season 34. The new season starts June 14 and will stream only on Paramount+.
Coaches with big resumes
Michael Bisping and Daniel Cormier are both UFC hall of famers and veteran coaches. Bisping first rose to fame by winning The Ultimate Fighter season 3 in 2006. He later became the UFC middleweight champion and has coached TUF before on seasons 9 and 14.
Daniel Cormier is a former UFC light-heavyweight and heavyweight champion. He has also coached on The Ultimate Fighter, leading teams on seasons 27 and 33. Both men return to the show for their third turn as coaches.
Season details and schedule
The Ultimate Fighter season 34 will be the first season to appear only on Paramount+. The season premiere is set for Sunday, June 14. That is the same day as the UFC: White House event, also called UFC Freedom Fights 250.
After the June 14 premiere, new episodes will air every Tuesday. The season will run for 12 episodes in total.
This season will feature 16 fighters. The cast includes men in the bantamweight division and women in the strawweight division. All fighters will compete for the title of Ultimate Fighter and for a contract with the UFC.
What fans should watch for
With two experienced champions coaching, the season promises strong strategy and clear rivalries during training and fights. Fans can expect the usual mix of training, team matchups and elimination fights, as coaches push for their team to win.
Paramount+ will also add past seasons of The Ultimate Fighter to its library starting in late May. That will give viewers a chance to catch up on earlier seasons before the new one begins.
