Jake Paul says he is open to selling or partnering his company Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) to UFC president Dana White. Paul made the offer while criticizing White’s new boxing effort and calling out early mistakes.
Paul’s offer to Dana White
During an appearance on Theo Von’s podcast, Paul said he would sell MVP or work with White if it makes sense. He told White directly that buying or partnering with MVP would lead to better results. Paul said, “Buy us! We’ll help you guys not be idiots.”
Criticism of Zuffa Boxing
Paul, 29, criticized White’s early moves with Zuffa Boxing. He pointed to a reported deal that paid Conor Benn $15 million for a fight with Regis Prograis. Paul said that kind of pay for a single fight is a mistake and not how his model works. He added that the new venture is “already making a lot of mistakes” and called some decisions “basic.”
Paul also stressed he has no ego and is willing to work with anyone, even longtime rivals. He told the podcast, “I don’t have an ego, bro. I’ll work with anybody.”
MVP’s background and move into MMA
Paul launched Most Valuable Promotions with Nakisa Bidarian in 2021. MVP became a big name in boxing promotions. In 2026, the company announced it would move into MMA, expanding beyond boxing promotions.
MVP MMA 1 details
The first MMA event from MVP is scheduled for May 16 in Inglewood, California. The event is called MVP MMA 1 and it will have a high-profile main event. Ronda Rousey will face Gina Carano in the headline bout. The co-main event will feature former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou against Philipe Lins.
Those are the main fights announced so far for the May 16 card. Paul’s comments and the upcoming card put MVP in a position to make a bigger mark in MMA. His open offer to Dana White adds a new angle to the growing conversation about promoters and pay in combat sports.
