UFCcoverage reports that EA has officially announced EA Sports UFC 6. The company revealed the release date, cover stars, and details about the Ultimate Edition.
Release date and editions
The game will launch on June 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players who buy the Ultimate Edition get early access on June 12, 2026, one week before the full release. Pre-orders are now live.
Cover stars and Ultimate Edition content
EA revealed two cover stars. UFC light-heavyweight champion Alex Pereira is on the standard edition cover. Former featherweight champion Max Holloway is the face of the Ultimate Edition.
The Ultimate Edition includes a Fighters Pass that gives access to eight UFC legends, with two of those legends available at launch. It also includes an Expansion Pass that will add new modes and content in winter 2026 and summer 2027. Buyers of the Ultimate Edition will also receive a VIP pass with extra fighter skins and cosmetics.
Gameplay and features
EA has shared only a few gameplay details so far. The company says the game will have “evolved striking and motion systems” and improved fighter controls. New game modes are promised, including immersive storytelling designed to make fights feel personal.
EA described the game this way: “EA Sports UFC 6 is powered by fighters. Evolved striking and motion systems bring UFC stars to life in the Octagon, while new game modes introduce immersive storytelling that makes every fight feel personal. Square up and fight your fight.”
PC rumors and social media
There had been rumors that a PC version might be in development, possibly the first PC release in the franchise. EA’s announcement did not mention a PC release, so those rumors remain unconfirmed.
