Joe Hendry is a new face on WWE RAW. He has gotten strong crowd reactions with a catchy song aimed at Logan Paul. But fans and writers worry WWE may be using the same idea too much and could hurt his future.
Too Much of the Same
Hendry first appeared on RAW after WrestleMania 42. He quickly connected with the live crowd by singing a new chant, “Fire Logan Paul.” The song got big reactions at first. Logan Paul responded on live TV, and the two have feuded since.
But week after week Hendry keeps singing the exact same song. The rivalry has not moved far beyond short brawls and the repeated performance. That repetition makes the angle feel flat. Fans who loved the first few shows may grow tired if WWE keeps running the same beat every week.
There is also concern WWE might push the song into too much merch or force Hendry to sing it on every show. Other WWE new acts have hit similar walls when the company leans on one simple idea for too long.
Hendry Works Best When He Has Freedom
Joe Hendry made his name on the independent scene and in TNA by writing songs and making videos that mocked opponents. Those bits were creative and helped him stand out. He beat many names on the indies and used music to build momentum.
WWE does not always give wrestlers the same creative room. In the past, acts that thrived outside WWE have seen their characters changed or limited on TV. Names like Drew Galloway (Drew McIntyre), Eli Drake (LA Knight), Matt Cardona, and others show how different the main roster can be for new arrivals.
Hendry is at his best when he can craft new material and surprise the audience. Here is a recent Hendry clip from social and live shows:
Good Start, But WWE Must Be Careful
Right now Hendry is getting good reactions. He is part of RAW’s midcard and has ties to The Street Profits. His program with Logan Paul and members of The Vision gives him TV time and exposure.
Still, this feels like an early test. If WWE keeps limiting Hendry to one song and small brawls, his act could lose steam. Fans want new songs and smart storytelling. They want to see Hendry use his full range of promos and videos, not only a repeating gag.
We can hope the Logan Paul angle ends in the next few months and WWE moves Hendry on to fresh feuds and new music. For now, Joe Hendry looks strong. WWE should give him room to grow before the crowd gets bored.
