Lorenz Larkin has pulled out of next month’s MVP: Rousey vs. Carano MMA event on Netflix because of a knee injury. He announced the news on Instagram and said he will rehab and return to action.
Larkin confirms withdrawal
Larkin posted on Instagram: ‘I\’m sorry to all the fans but I had to pull out of the Netflix card due to knee injury. Will be rehabing it back to 100% and will be back.’
The 39-year-old had been scheduled to face former Bellator champion Jason Jackson on the show. It is not yet known if MVP will find a replacement opponent for Jackson or remove the bout from the card.
About the fighters
Lorenz Larkin is a veteran of UFC and Bellator. He won his last two MMA fights in 2024, one by first-round TKO and the other by first-round KO. His career record stands at 27-8 with two no-contests. Since those wins he has also fought in Karate Combat, going 1-1 there.
Jason Jackson, 35, is a former Bellator welterweight champion. At his peak he had an eight-fight winning streak in Bellator and captured the title. He has since lost the belt and has two losses in his last three fights.
